REEDLEY – The Lemoore College women's soccer team had its two-game winning streak snapped after a 2-0 Central Valley Conference loss at Reedley College on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles dropped to 3-7-1 overall and 2-2-1 in conference play.
Reedley held a narrow 1-0 lead at halftime and the game remained that way until late in the contest. The Tigers scored their final goal in extra time just moments before the final whistle.
"It was a hard fought game," said Lemoore head coach Francisco Hernandez. "We had plenty of chances but couldn't put them in."
The Golden Eagles return to action next Tuesday (Oct. 7) when they host Fresno City College in a 4 p.m. Central Valley Conference game.
