SANTA MARIA – After opening the season with a slow 1-3 start, the Lemoore College women's basketball is starting the click. On Saturday, the Golden Eagles won their fourth straight game, a 79-59 rout at Allan Hancock College.
Lemoore has won six of their last seven games to improve to 8-5 overall this season.
Savannah Rowland led the Golden Eagles with a strong all-around performance, scoring 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting while knocking down four three-pointers. She also dished out a game-high nine assists and grabbed eight rebounds. Aaliyah Thompson was highly efficient in the paint, finishing with 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting, while Lia Sims added 12 points, six rebounds, and three steals.
