Golden Eagles Ranked No. 17 in Preseason State Poll

New Lemoore College women's basketball head coach Keshawn Johnson has the attention of his fellow coaches from across the state. Johnson has the program trending in the right direction as the Golden Eagles are ranked No. 17 in the California Community College Women's Basketball Coaches Association (CCCWBCA) Pre-Season State Top-25 Poll.

Johnson comes to Lemoore after leading Cerro Coso College to a 24-6 overall record and a spot in the Southern California Regional Playoffs last season.

Lemoore opens the 2025-26 season on Friday (Oct. 31) at the three-day Jocelyn Mancebo Classic, hosted by San Joaquin Delta College. After a pair of tournaments, the Golden Eagles will make their home debut on November 14 against Barstow Community College. Opening tip is set for 5 p.m. at Golden Eagle Arena.
