Golden Eagles wrap up season with rout of rival Coalinga; earn 10 All-CVC awards
LEMOORE – The 2025-26 Lemoore College men's basketball season came to a close with the Golden Eagles' 81-50 Central Valley Conference rout of in-district rival Coalinga College on Friday at Golden Eagle Arena.
Sophomore Mykayle McCoy wrapped up his Lemoore career in a big way, posting a triple-double with team-highs of 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. He also added 4 blocks to his huge night.
Kason Smith added 13 points and 7 rebounds, Davion Jackson scored 11 points off the bench, and Braydin Samuels chipped in with 9 points.
The Golden Eagles ended the season by winning five of its final seven games for a 15-13 overall record. Lemoore finished in fourth place in the Central Valley Conference standings at 8-6. It was a solid season of improvement for the Golden Eagles as they increased last year's win total by six games.
ALL-CENTRAL VALLEY CONFERENCE POSTSEASON HONORS
Following the close of the regular season, six members of the Golden Eagles men's basketball squad were honored with a total of 10 All-Central Valley Conference postseason awards.
Mykayle McCoy: First-Team All-CVC
Na'Jae Stevenson: First-Team All-CVC, First Team All-Freshman, First team All-Defense
Davion Jackson: Second-Team All-CVC, First-Team All-Freshman, First-Team All-Defense
Eleven Williams: First-Team All-Freshman
Taven Jenkins: Second-Team All-Freshman
Kason Smith: Second-Team All-Defense
