Lemoore’s Jaylan Walton signs with Southern Utah

LEMOORE – Another Lemoore College Golden Eagles men's basketball player is headed to the NCAA Division I level.

Athletic Director Walter Parham and Head Coach Jovan Joe announced that sophomore standout Jaylan Waltan (Hoover HS/Fresno, CA) has signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Southern Utah University.

Southern Utah is located in Cedar City, Utah and competes as a member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). Walton is the second Golden Eagle to transfer on to an NCAA Division I program, joining teammate Trey Booker-Lowery who recently signed with the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Walton, a 6-2 guard, was named All-Central Valley Conference honorable mention this past season (2024-25) after averaging 15.2 points, 6.5 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game.
